My time at Far Horizons RV park is coming to a close for the season. I have watched many changes here over the past 4 months - we even have new picnic tables! However, it has been "not a usual" winter according to the locals. Rain, rain, rain, even a little snow, cold, cold, and more cold has taken a toll on my exciting adventure. I am ready to head south, find some sunshine (vitamin D) and warmer temperatures.
I have met a ton of exciting, fun people while in this area! If anyone is traveling or new to any area, I strongly suggest checking out meetup.com and find some new things to learn, new people to meet and find out places to go from the local communities. Saying Goodbye to my new friends this week has been fun yet sad. God willing, I will see them all again and they will remember me and my adventures!
So off to move to the southern district of the U.S.! Going to make a stop at Sequoia National Park, then Mohave Valley, then into Phoenix. Taking two weeks to go about 600 miles!
If you follow me on FB, you know I have accepted a verbal offer for a summer / seasonal job at Flaming Gorge Resort. Not sure what day I am supposed to start (mid-April), but will leave Phoenix area and head up to Utah / Wyoming for the summer - am VERY excited to see the national parks along the way and in that area. And I will surely post some pictures of Dinosaur National Monument!!
Stay tuned - stay strong and keep the faith. All things are possible with prayer!
