Next Moves

So the grieving of losing Isabella is more bearable today than it was just a mere month ago. I still have her cute picture on my tablet and see her every time I log on to play a game. Remembering her laying beside the bed in the space just big enough for her to go one way (she had to back up to get out) brings me smiles and joy. I know she is playing in Dog Rainbow Heaven and watching this adventure from above!

Thus, on to the next stage of the adventure. I am exhausted from working on my feet, serving the "rafters" whom have little regard for other's property. My poor boss. These people let their kids destroy merchandise (had one toddler with ice cream fingers crawling on the t-shirt table!), eat items without paying for them, misplacing items they wanted to show others.... my cynicism of people without manners has been proven. Thankfully, every Sunday and Monday I take off and find a new spot to rejuvenate, explore and get quiet.

From Cheyenne, Wyoming to Evanston (on interstate 80), from Steamboat to Rifle, Colorado (back roads), and more recently Heber City, there is a lot to see within a few hours drive of this amazingly beautiful area of Utah. But the season is coming to a close and off the mountain I must go before I get stuck here in the deep depths of snow. Where to?

Because staying at a resort in the RV would be ideal, but I am having AC issues, I decided to purchase a park model "mobile home" in Mesa. Keep your fingers crossed, please. The current owners verbally accepted and now I just have to be approved by the Cal-Am resort. Once approved, I will be participating in all of the swimming and line dance events I can starting the end of October.

Before then, I hope to check on my stuff in Arkansas storage and pick up a few of my favorite things to outfit the new unit. I do miss my "stuff" in storage and am looking forward to seeing friends in that area before I roll away again! Drop me a line if you will be in the Fayetteville area in late October and we will do lunch or coffee :-)

Thanks for your continued prayers and well-wishes... this is an amazing opportunity!

Sue

About Me

SueCanDo, named by a dear friend who departed this planet much too young, will strive to be a place for inspiration, clarity and enlightenment. My friend and I  had just reconnected and were having daily emails and weekly conversations that lasted long into the early mornings.

Still hundreds of miles away, I was looking forward to finally spending quality time with him after decades of missing his stories and hugs in person. A brief weekend in April, 2018, confirmed we were going to have many great adventures. Then he had an accident on one of his favorite motorcycles on one of his favorite roads after having just eaten his favorite hamburger at his favorite joint on 101 in northern CA. The shock has worn off, but I still miss what should have been.

So Mike, thanks to you and your "beady brain", here is SueCanDo, even without you the name lives on!

And, these are the Grand Adventures, after the Grand Purge, leading up to quality time with my Grand Babies!! This is a record for them to one day review and laugh with "Gammie"!
