On the Road Again...


Love this Skippy Trippy Zippy Rig! 350 miles yesterday up through America's heartland. Across southern Missouri and up beside the river. About 300 miles today, along I-29, took me through 4 states! All so GREEN!! Farmers out plowing and planting your food, "help wanted" signs in every town, blooming trees of many varieties. Beautiful two days for driving.


Heading to Hill City, SD, for a summer job! Looking forward to the work, the place, and the days off exploring everything nearby. I have my AAA tour book and will be checking off all the attractions and trails as time allows.

SueCanDo, named by a dear friend who departed this planet much too young, will strive to be a place for inspiration, clarity and enlightenment. My friend and I  had just reconnected and were having daily emails and weekly conversations that lasted long into the early mornings.

 

Still hundreds of miles away, I was looking forward to finally spending quality time with him after decades of missing his stories and hugs in person. A brief weekend in April, 2018, confirmed we were going to have many great adventures. Then he had an accident on one of his favorite motorcycles on one of his favorite roads after having just eaten his favorite hamburger at his favorite joint on 101 in northern CA. The shock has worn off, but I still miss what should have been.

 

So Mike, thanks to you and your "beady brain", here is SueCanDo, even without you the name lives on!

And, these are the Grand Adventures, after the Grand Purge, leading up to quality time with my Grand Babies!! This is a record for them to one day review and laugh with "Gammie"!
