The Sun finally came out in JUNE!

West Yellowstone is perfectly located at the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Being so close to the valleys of Bozeman, Montana, and Idaho Falls, Idaho, means the weather can change in an instant! Higher up in the volcanic ash, yes the soil is actually little pebbles of black lava and rock, the locals love the rain - it prevents wildfires. However, it makes for a very wet and often cold, Spring.

The heat finally arrived with 68 degrees this first week of June, 2022. And after two days of drying out, it is to rain again today. The water helps the waterfalls and the rainbows.. and to keep the pine trees growing. That's all the nice things I can say about it. It also creates mud, pits in the roads and nasty alleys!

Enjoy all the new pics I have posted and feel free to share with your friends. I have now visited all 50 states and am looking for additional bucket list items. All suggestions considered. Blessings to all - enjoy each day!

About Me

SueCanDo, named by a dear friend who departed this planet much too young, will strive to be a place for inspiration, clarity and enlightenment. My friend and I  had just reconnected and were having daily emails and weekly conversations that lasted long into the early mornings.

Still hundreds of miles away, I was looking forward to finally spending quality time with him after decades of missing his stories and hugs in person. A brief weekend in April, 2018, confirmed we were going to have many great adventures. Then he had an accident on one of his favorite motorcycles on one of his favorite roads after having just eaten his favorite hamburger at his favorite joint on 101 in northern CA. The shock has worn off, but I still miss what should have been.

So Mike, thanks to you and your "beady brain", here is SueCanDo, even without you the name lives on!

And, these are the Grand Adventures, after the Grand Purge, leading up to quality time with my Grand Babies!! This is a record for them to one day review and laugh with "Gammie"!
