More than four decades ago I learned how to stock shelves, face the products (make them all go the same direction), price items and run a cash register. Hard to believe with modern technology, only the cash registered has changed meaning I don't have to subtract in my head anymore (so why do they still teach this in school? Or do they???).
I haven't taken more than a 1/2 mile hike because it won't stop raining or snowing on my days off. Isabella isn't into hiking, so we take short walks, the same path, just to get fresh air... oh my I wish it would warm up above 50 during the day and above 30 at night!!!
Some customers saw a moose yesterday and shared the pictures with me... I still haven't seen one, but camera is ready! One of the fly-fishing guides caught a beaver last week (set him loose) and shared the pictures. And I was told where to go to see herds of mountain sheep. So far, only the "almost domesticated" deer have been within camera-range, but those were times when I didn't have the camera! LOL
Red Canyon vista was amazing last weekend, though it is only a few miles from me. Can't wait for it to warm up and perhaps I will hike over there one day!!
I did drive to Manila, Utah which was an incredible experience. The views and vistas of the Flaming Gorge reservoir are more beautiful than any postcard could possibly capture.
I haven't learned how to fly-fish, yet, and probably won't since it requires a lot of apparel in addition to the renting of rods, reels and other paraphernalia. But I will raft or kayak down the GreenRiver (just to say I did) since it also is one of those international tourist destinations and known throughout the world for its Trout catching experiences.
All for now - pictures to follow!
